Many teachers, students and parents are concerned about how to prevent epidemics. Dean Zhan Changquan of the School of Public Health of National Taiwan University provided five guidelines on campus epidemic prevention measures for reference. In particular, fever screening, classroom window ventilation and other epidemic prevention and control are the main measures to fight the virus.

First, students and teachers who are suspected or diagnosed with infection do not go to school and do not seek medical treatment immediately. 1. COVID-19 patients and people suspected of being infected with novel coronavirus don't go to school. 2. Do not go to school if you have fever symptoms, and seek medical attention immediately. 3. Before seeking medical treatment, be sure to inform the medical staff that you are suspected of being infected with novel coronavirus.

The second is social distance, such as seat spacing, avoiding indoor and large-scale activities 1. The seat spacing is enlarged. If possible, the seat spacing between two students is greater than1.8m.. 2. Adjust the time of recess and lunch, so that the whole school can divide recess and lunch into two or three steps. 3. Third, the way to clean the environment inside and outside the classroom should pay attention to hygiene and eliminate viruses 1. After each class, tables and chairs need to be disinfected and cleaned, including the meeting room, and they need to be wiped and disinfected before use. 2. Surfaces that are frequently contacted inside and outside the classroom, such as desktops, doorknobs, windows, toilets, telephones, keyboards, tablet computers, bookcases, etc., should be cleaned every day. Don't enjoy food and drink, and don't touch food with your bare hands. 4. Don't use plates, cups, teacups, chopsticks, knives, forks and towels with others. 5. Use personal tableware. These used things need soapy water and should be thoroughly cleaned immediately. 6. It is not allowed to use windowless classrooms, conference rooms and offices. 7. Pay attention to hand hygiene, including washing hands before going out, getting off the bus, entering the school gate, entering the classroom and going to the toilet, especially for at least 20 seconds. After washing, dry it with toilet paper or your own handkerchief. If your hands are not dirty, you can wash them with dry hand sanitizer. Do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. 8. sneeze and cough etiquette: when coughing or sneezing, cover your nose and mouth with toilet paper, or cough or sneeze with sleeves. Used toilet paper must be thrown into a dustbin with a lid and disposed of as soon as possible. 9. Clean the trash can at least twice a day (morning and afternoon).

4. Ventilation guide: Window opening in cold weather 1~3 minutes 1. Where there are doors and windows, keep them open. Please open the window for 20 minutes 1~3 minutes when it is cold. If there is no room for doors and windows, please use it all the way and turn on the ventilation system. 3. If there is no room for doors and windows and no ventilation system, it is recommended to stop using it; If you must use it, please don't use it by many people.

5. Temperature measurement: enter the campus or classroom to measure and record the temperature of 1. Every student must have his or her body temperature assessed when he or she enters the school, and use forehead temperature screening. If the fever is above 37.5℃ (inclusive), rest for five minutes for the second check. If it is still above 37.5°C (inclusive), it must be checked with an ear thermometer. Do not drink hot or cold water, coffee or drinks within 20 minutes of measuring the temperature. ) 2. Parents or students must contact their family doctors or familiar doctors to explain their fever and travel history, whether they have had contact with patients from epidemic areas, and arrange for further examination and treatment in appropriate fever isolation clinics. 3. School nurses and teachers must closely follow the students with fever in order to make possible isolation or disposal measures in the future. Dean Zhan Changquan explained that school epidemic prevention can be divided into containment period and disaster reduction period, with two weeks' delay as containment period and time for space.
