Posting means to stick notices, advertisements, slogans, etc. on a wall or board. Volume 8 of "The Record of Yanxiaxiang Yin" by Chen Kangqi of the Qing Dynasty: "In the Kangxi period, I used a pen to bless the people, and wrote ten pieces with the word 'Fu' in it. I used it to post it in the palace and never gave it to the ministers."

Basic explanation: Post in public places, post notices on bulletin boards.

Posting in a sentence:

1. I am used to doing most of my homework in school and putting one or two stickers on books. I used to hide under the quilt with a flashlight after my parents fell asleep and read books borrowed from my classmates.

2. Set off a bunch of fireworks to bloom brilliantly; post a Spring Festival couplet to express the hope of the New Year; prepare a New Year's dinner to gather the power of family affection; send a text message to express sincere blessings. Happy New Year!

3. In order to deceive others, some places selling counterfeit goods even put up slogans saying “Beware of Counterfeits” to deceive customers.

4. Vegetable vendors put up posters, some out of habit, some because everyone does it, and some because they are afraid of the consequences if they don't follow the rules.
