Regulations on prohibition of fishing in the Yangtze River

Legal analysis: According to Chinese laws, we will carry out special rectification actions to crack down on illegal fishing. In view of the repeated illegal fishing in key waters of the Yangtze River basin, a one-year special crackdown and rectification campaign was launched. The provinces along the Yangtze River (municipalities directly under the Central Government) should set up a joint command led by the public security organs, with the participation of agriculture and rural (fishery) departments, development and reform, transportation, water conservancy, market supervision, network information, forestry and grass departments and units, formulate implementation plans, and make overall plans to promote various law enforcement tasks to ensure effective results. Supervise major cases, strengthen the connection between administrative law enforcement and criminal justice, publish a number of typical cases, and form a powerful deterrent.
