China flower-and-bird painting is an important part of China culture, with a history of thousands of years and a brilliant industrial class. The Five Dynasties were the moderns of China's landscape painting and flower-and-bird painting. Once upon a time, participating in exhibitions and winning prizes became the pursuit of friends in Liang Dong, and even they were so tenacious that they disdained to participate in non-national competitions! Although the excitement after winning the prize will arouse greater creative desire, it is found that personalized artistic exploration and natural expression will be unconsciously bound by the "authoritative" judgment of the judges, the creative direction will also change, and vanity and utilitarianism will sprout. In this way, the art itself has been shelved, and the "authoritative standard" of the judges has replaced the self. My friend Liang Dong suddenly realized that art must return to its original intention and respond to the roar of a simple mind.

Creation is like planting flowers. Some people kill time like sunbathing in the morning; Some people pursue fashion, just like wearing gold and silver to show their noble status. Liang Dong, my dear friend, regards flower cultivation as an indispensable procedure in his life, just like dressing and eating. In the artistic creation state of normalization of life, the connotation of classic culture has quietly transformed into his personal artistic temperament cultivation and the solidification of solid basic skills. Many phenomena and experiences that ordinary people seem to turn a blind eye to in life are continuously transformed into artistic nutrients, without whitewashing, disguising or racking their brains. It is simple, true and true, and that kind of truth emerges quietly in his creative picture inadvertently.

Dong Yuan, Guan Tong, Hao Jing, Ju Ran and Fan Kuan in the Northern Song Dynasty in the Five Dynasties, Li Tang, Liu Songnian, Ma Yuan and Xia Gui in the Southern Song Dynasty, outstanding painters Zhao Mengfu, Zhenwu, Huang, Wang Meng and Ni Zan in the Yuan Dynasty, Shen Zhou in the Ming Dynasty and Tang Yin's reddish landscapes are all very different. After the heyday of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, few people arrived here. It's really not easy to cultivate to such a degree. My friend Liang Dong has already walked on this road.
