Notice on the implementation of a comprehensive fishing ban in the Yicheng section of the Han River Basin

According to the "Fisheries Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs' Regulation on the Scope of the Fishing Ban in Key Waters of the Yangtze River Basin" and Time Notice" and other relevant laws, regulations and document requirements, the matters related to the comprehensive fishing ban in the Yicheng section of the Han River Basin are hereby announced as follows:

1. Fishing ban period

Since 2020 Starting from 0:00 on July 1, 2020, it is tentatively scheduled for 10 years.

2. No fishing zone

The Yicheng section of the Han River Basin.

3. Prohibited Behaviors

During the prescribed closed fishing periods and areas, all fishing activities are prohibited; the purchase, sale, and processing of illegally caught fish are prohibited; and manufacturing is prohibited , sell and use prohibited fishing gear.

IV. Legal Responsibilities

For illegal acts that violate this notice, according to the "Fisheries Law of the People's Republic of China" and "Public Security Management Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China" "The People's Republic of China and the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China" and other laws and regulations stipulate that the fishery administrative department and the public security department shall handle or punish; if a crime is constituted, it shall be transferred to the judicial authority for processing in accordance with the law; if losses are caused, the liability for compensation shall be borne in accordance with the law.

5. Social Supervision

Any unit or individual has the right to discourage or report any illegal behavior that violates the provisions of this notice. Any organization and citizen has the right to supervise and report any behavior of administrative law enforcement agencies and their staff who fail to perform their duties in accordance with the law or bend the law for personal gain. The unit that receives the report shall investigate and handle it in accordance with the law, and feedback the investigation and handling results to the whistleblower.
