Fujian Beidian South Transmission UHV AC Power Transmission and Transformation Project (Quanzhou Section) officially started

On the morning of May 17, Quanzhou held a centralized video link start-up event for major projects in 2022. 178 projects in the city started construction simultaneously, with a total investment of 103.3 billion yuan. The Fujian Beidian South Transmission UHV AC Power Transmission and Transformation Project (Quanzhou Section) project participated in this start of construction.

As the unit responsible for the Fujian North-South Transmission UHV Line Project, Li Jucong, general manager of State Grid Quanzhou Power Supply Company, spoke on behalf of the company at the event. Li Jucong introduced the overall situation of the project, and said that in the face of the heavy workload of local coordination and tight delivery time of the project, "Double Satisfaction Communist Party Member Commando Team" will be established according to the township by strengthening the leadership of the party flag and setting up party members. Responsible positions; establish a city-county coordination mechanism, set up two-level special classes, and 16 youth compensation working groups to strengthen government-enterprise linkage for youth compensation and demolition territorial responsibilities; carry out a 100-day evaluation activity, benchmark incentives and assessments, and create a competitive atmosphere. The whole company will work together and work hard to ensure that the local work of the North Electric Power to the South Transmission Project will be completed on time and make greater contributions to the growing demand for electricity in the Quanzhou area!

It is reported that the Nortel South Transmission Project is the second ultra-high voltage line in Fujian Province, with a total length of 468 kilometers (2 circuits); the line length in Quanzhou exceeds 260 kilometers (2 circuits), passing through Anxi, There are 16 towns and villages in Yongchun and Dehua counties, with 446 towers, accounting for 53.6% of the entire line. The total investment in the project is 7.12 billion yuan, of which 2.27 billion yuan is invested in the Quanzhou section. The project will be completed and put into operation by the end of 2023. After the line is put into operation, it will effectively solve the problem of weak existing grids in central and western Fujian, not only meet the short-term and long-term large-scale power allocation needs in the north and south, but also meet the large-scale consumption and seasonal surplus of clean power sources such as offshore wind power and nuclear power in Fujian. We will further build a strong smart grid that is both rigid and flexible.

About 90 tower bases of this project are located in mountainous areas. The construction process needs to overcome complex natural conditions such as dense forests and high altitudes. It has the characteristics of tight construction schedule, heavy tasks, high difficulty, and high standards. Since the project was fully deployed and advanced, State Grid Quanzhou Power Supply Company has closely followed the nodes and wall charts, giving full play to the joint efforts of government and enterprises. With the strong support of the party committees and governments of the three counties along the line, it has immediately introduced project compensation for young crops, land and housing expropriation and compensation The resettlement plan and the advance work of line construction are advanced in an orderly manner, laying a solid foundation for the smooth start of the project. On May 7, the company held a mobilization meeting for project territorial work, and signed "Party Building Infrastructure" Project Responsibility Letters with companies in three counties along the line to build a unified command and coordinated work pattern to comprehensively promote territorial coordination for UHV project construction. Provide strong organizational support for the mission.

At 11 a.m. that day, as the on-site command gave an order , the L506 tower in Xiping Town, Anxi County officially broke ground, marking that the Quanzhou section of the Beidian South Transmission UHV Project has entered a new stage of comprehensive acceleration and large-scale construction. After the project is put into operation, it will open up the second "transmission line" of the Quanzhou regional power grid, providing sufficient support and additional impetus for the implementation of Quanzhou City's strategy of "strengthening industry and revitalizing the city".
