The front (north) of the Monument is a whole granite, with a length of 14.7 meters, a width of 2.9 meters, a thickness of 1 meter and a weight of 60.23 tons. It is engraved with eight gold foil characters inscribed by Comrade Mao Zedong on1June 9, 955. On the back, the stone tablet consists of seven stones, and its content is the small inscription of 150, which was drafted by Mao Zedong and written by Zhou Enlai.

1969 In September, the Museum of Chinese Revolution and the Museum of Chinese History merged to become the Museum of Chinese Revolutionary History. 1983, the Chinese History Museum and the Chinese Revolutionary Museum resumed their independent organizational systems, and the official name of the Chinese Revolutionary History Museum came to an end temporarily.
