What is cold food?

There has always been a rule that during the period of cold food, it is necessary to ban fire and eat cold food, so it is called "Cold Food Festival". This festival was officially promoted at that time, in order to commemorate the extreme loyalty, and then it was pushed by the master to burn to death. How to see if everyone has observed the rules of the festival? That is to ban fire. And the last sentence of this poem is clearly about those official houses, which not only lit lamps, but also issued candlelight in the palace.

This is actually an ironic poem. The "Han Palace" here actually refers to the court at that time, which was the rule of writing at that time.

Therefore, although this work is famous for its first sentence, "Flowers are flying everywhere in the spring city", it is actually a work that satirizes the court officials' failure to observe the custom of banning fire.

However, this kind of anti-human festival was naturally eliminated by ordinary people in the entertainment-loving Tang Dynasty. His irony was meaningless even then.
