Walking the world-Nepal ABC

Annapurna Base Camp, also known as ABC, is an entry-level hiking route next to Boccara and deep into the snow-capped mountains. It is also the only hiking route in the world with 8000 meters of snow-capped mountains. How many places in the world can you get so close to 8000 meters? Snow mountain? Ranked first among the top ten hiking routes in the world, it is one of the hiking routes that snow mountain enthusiasts and hiking enthusiasts can't miss in this life. Moreover, this line is particularly mature, with sufficient supply and not too long distance. This is also a good route for hiking Xiaobai.

Generally speaking, from Nayapule, you can choose to go to Poon Hill or directly to ABC. Then come down from Phedi. The route is mature and not complicated, so I won't introduce it here.

The tourist season in Nepal is 10 to May of the following year. During this period, there was less rain, the sky was cleaner and the scenery was more transparent. It's just that the weather in February-March of 65438+ is cold, and there is a high probability that it will snow, and the danger will increase a lot. We went at the end of 10 this time, and the weather was so good that we didn't even meet a cloudy day.

Since I have been away for more than half a year when writing this article, I can't find the drawing of the equipment, so I made a table for your reference.

If a porter is hired, a pair of low-cut hiking shoes or cross-country running shoes will do. If you reinstall, it is better to use walking shoes with middle or high tops.

Bag: two people use an eagle's 70-liter ag.

Snacks can bring a little energy (Snickers, chocolates and the like).

Focus! Focus! Focus! Be sure to bring a kettle. There is no bottled water to buy after Ghandruk. You can only pour filtered water and boiled water into your bottle, but plastic bottles can't hold hot water. To tell the truth, the filtered cold water is not very clean, and it is easy to have diarrhea after drinking it. It is best not to.

Medicine: Take some anti-inflammatory drugs (such as cephalosporin and amoxicillin), cold medicine (999 Ganmaoling) and diarrhea medicine (montmorillonite powder).

You can choose to fly and bus from Kathmandu to Boccara. I am flying. I don't know much about buses. Just write about airplanes.

Airline: Buddha and snowman are more reliable, but it is almost inevitable that they will appear later. Waiting at the airport 1, 2 hours is normal.

Ticket purchase: 1. I bought it myself in official website, which is a bit time-consuming, laborious and expensive.

2. It's cheaper to buy tickets from travel agencies or local people in China, and the ticket purchase rate will be much higher in peak season. Personal contact information

There will be an electronic ticket after purchasing the ticket, and then you can plant the plane with this and your passport.

The airport is relatively simple.

Security is useless, as long as you don't bring lighters, trekking poles and knives, you can take them directly to the plane.

That's what airplanes do. In addition, propeller planes are very noisy. There are no earplugs on the plane. You can bring your own earplugs or noise-reducing headphones.

Time: about 30 minutes.

Route:

Day 1 day: Boccara to Gandruk

The next day: Gandhork to Qionglong

Day 3: Chomrong to Deurali

Day 4: Germany to ABC to bamboo

Day 5: Bamboo to Freddie to Boccara.

There is a 7-day strategy behind.

1. If you don't make a reservation, don't worry. It is best to check in at 3 o'clock, otherwise there may be no room at the next point, especially in the peak season.

2. At the beginning, treat your husband like an employer, and don't be too nice to him, otherwise your journey will be full of nightmares (don't ask me how I know).

3, be sure to remember to spend in the place where you stay, otherwise you will be kicked out or charged 1000.

You'd better bring sunscreen and lipstick, or your lips will crack when you walk. Black circle

After walking 1.5 hours from the center of Boccara, you can reach the starting point of Nayapu. There are two roads into the mountain. You can choose to walk or take a bus. It takes more than 2 hours to walk and only 1 hour by car. A car is 4000 N, but don't even think about it. Originally for hiking, I didn't have to take a car at first. After walking through the mountain pass, I set off. Less than ten minutes after we went out, the fishtail peak appeared in front of us. This mountain peak is 6993 meters above sea level. It is located in the northeast of Boccara, and this fishtail-like peak can be clearly seen in the city without shelter. Walking on such a beautiful road, no matter how much effort you make, it is worthwhile.

It took about two hours to reach the bus terminal. I tried a potato curry rice 400 N at noon. The potatoes were just pulled out of the ground and still fresh, but the waiting time was a little long.

After that, I went up from here and started the journey of steps.

This day's trip is not bad, adaptability is good, not particularly tired. The scenery is an ordinary rural scenery in China. There are many terraces, and their production tools are relatively simple, even semi-mechanized tools are rare.

Distance and time

Ghandruk's inn also has a single bathroom, where you can take a bath, and the food is not bad, as well as meat and fruit. You can see the South Peak of Anna Poorna.

The next day, the difficulty will be much higher. To climb two hills, friends with bad knees can prepare knee pads in advance. The first mountain was partially damaged by dirt roads.

I had lunch in a Korean shop in Xinqiao, and the curry chicken in this shop is very recommended. It's just that our husband is ill and can't walk, so we have to change to a husband in the local village. Later, we found that these two husbands are completely different, which will be described in detail later. Chomrong is a relatively large town, with schools, many families and rice fields, but this town is built on a mountain with a great height difference, all of which are stone steps, which makes people feel very uncomfortable. It's just a dilemma. It's very tiring to go up, and it's not easy to get down. There is no scenery at all. Strictly speaking, this town is the gateway of ABC and needs to be re-registered. It may need photos. I didn't bring it. I copied it with my passport. Mainly to report, free travellers must pay attention.

Put another beautiful picture of my husband.

Live in chomrong in the afternoon. There are also some inns in this place that have separate bathrooms, or you will start charging for bathing, charging and Wi-Fi from here, but Nepal Telecom's card still has a signal, so it's up to you to be lucky if there is a signal.

Day 3: There are still some mountains left over from yesterday that need to be climbed, but the difficulty is far from being compared with the previous ones. Then there is a walk in the bamboo forest, which is basically a flat road. Some places are slippery and need special attention. My exam results didn't come out until the third day. Needless to say, I was extremely anxious and didn't have much interest in anything and scenery. I am in such an embarrassing situation that I can't get on or off. I have no choice but to continue. But it also brought me a soul torture, why should I go hiking at the age and time when I should have studied hard? Even if I have seen all the scenery in the world, what different experiences and feelings can I have? Is it the tempering of will? Or is it a test of the body? But these don't have to go to Nepal and ABC. Maybe it's an escape from reality, taking a few plane tickets and a few legs to a secret place, a brand-new country where no one knows me, or filling an empty heart in a fragmented information age. These answers flashed through my mind, but I thought they were too perfunctory and one-sided. More like looking for something, a kind of aimless search and wandering, eager to find the voice and answer in the depths of the soul in this wandering and searching. I only hope that when I leave that day, I can go deep into my heart and go where I belong.

At noon, I ate something in the Himalayas and set off. I wanted to get to MBC before dark, but I gave up because of the extreme challenge to time and physical strength. I live in Dreulle. And friends who want to live in the Himalayas should pay attention to the fact that there are only two shops in the Himalayas to live in. Many people may only rent tents, and there may be no tents in the future. It is suggested that it is best to bypass them.

The fourth day

This is the most difficult day of the trip. I wanted to catch up with Rizhao Jinshan in Anna Poorna, so I made an appointment with my husband to get up at 4 o'clock. This husband is really nice. You know, almost no one will get up at 4 o'clock for the Rizhao Jinshan that can be seen almost every time. And because I didn't have breakfast in that store, I made up the room rate 1000. After getting up, I took a picture of the starry sky in a hurry on the road.

I have to make do with it, or my tripod will be white.

The result still didn't catch up. At 6 o'clock in MBC, some people have finished watching Rizhao Jinshan, so I have to eat something at MBC. Unconsciously, I have walked above the snow line. The height of 4000 meters is not high, except that the blood oxygen is slightly lower, which is not common in China. With the rising of the sun, I finally saw the surrounding environment clearly, but I didn't expect it to be so different.

After walking 4000 meters, you will feel not only the beautiful scenery, but also the changes of time and times. No one knows how many years these stones have been lying here, how many things they have experienced and how many centuries they have been hit by running water. Compared with rocks and water, one's life is nothing. The farther he goes, the more he feels small and as hard as steel. Forty or fifty years later, he has become a pile of fragile rusty shelves, not to mention ourselves.

The base camp is not far ahead, so I left in a hurry without taking a group photo. The inn above has an apron, so it is also a good way to enter by helicopter, and you can stand in front of the 8000-meter snow-capped mountain effortlessly. It's just that the scenery in front of you may not be so amazing. Travel is more about the impact of your own discoveries and experiences on the way, and more about the essential difference between having fun in hardships and enjoying success. Also, ABC's room is very limited. If you don't want to fight with others, you must arrive early.

Then he retreated to the bamboo forest.

Day 5: Starting from bamboo, I went directly to phedi.

Jhinu Danda has a hot spring town. You can stay for one night to relax if necessary.

This is my first travel note with many shortcomings. Please give me some advice. Thank you for reading this novice travel book, and thank you for listening to my BB so much nonsense.
