A number of airlines have lifted the "mobile phone ban". Does the use of mobile phones really have no effect on the flight of airplanes?

The lifting of the ban on mobile phones is not to send text messages on the plane, but to allow mobile phones with flight mode to turn on computer functions when the plane is flying flat. During take-off and descent, mobile phones and various electronic devices must also be turned off.

At the same time, for the sake of cabin safety, small PED devices such as mobile phones and e-books are not allowed to be used to connect headphones, charging cables and other accessories during the critical flight phase of the aircraft, but electronic devices and life-sustaining devices such as hearing AIDS and pacemakers that do not affect the navigation and communication system of the aircraft can be used all the time. In low visibility, electronic equipment still needs to be turned off. According to the Beijing Morning Post, although the ban is lifted by turning on the mobile phone on the plane, the crew will ask passengers to turn off their mobile phones under certain circumstances, including low-visibility flights and when the crew finds suspected interference signals.

Why is it lifted now? 1. New technology has come into being, and the influence of mobile phone signals on airplanes can be ignored. 2. After adopting this technology in many countries, it has been verified and is very safe. Since it is mature, there is no need to restrict it. As long as it is safe, why not lift the ban?

I've used it abroad for a long time, so I can chat on WeChat and qq in the sky, and I won't feel bored after more than ten hours' journey. There are basically Boeing and Airbus aircraft in China, and there is no technical problem. I don't know if the tower has control, but FASCO's plane doesn't need to be turned off when it takes off from China. Just change to flight mode, which is probably not required at the airport.

However, the relaxation of the ban on mobile phone use does not mean that we can do whatever we want. Every passenger should have basic literacy and create a quiet environment.
