Employees who are injured at the construction site shall be compensated according to the standards for determining work-related injuries.

If an employee is injured at the construction site, the unit to which he belongs shall, within 30 days from the date of the accident injury, apply to the administrative department of social insurance in the overall planning area. If the employer fails to apply for work-related injury identification in accordance with the above provisions, the workers or their close relatives and trade unions may directly apply to the social insurance administrative department of the overall planning area where the employer is located within 1 year from the date of the accident injury. If the injury is relatively stable after treatment, the employee shall also carry out work-related injury identification.

If the worker is seriously injured or unable to take part in the work at the construction site, the construction unit shall continue to maintain the labor relationship with the worker, the work unit shall pay the one-time disability allowance for processing injury and disability allowance, and the work unit shall also pay the social security fee that should be paid for the worker at work according to the regulations. If the injury and disability allowance is lower than the local minimum wage quota standard, the work unit shall make up the difference.
