Is twitch related to Twitter?

twitch has nothing to do with Twitter.

Twitch is a real-time streaming video platform for video games. It was co-founded by Justin Kan and Emmett Shear in San Francisco in June 2011. It is an independent operation site under Justin.tv focusing on game-related content.

Twitter (Twitter) is an American social network and microblogging service company dedicated to serving public dialogue. Twitter allows users to update messages of no more than 140 characters (the upper limit has been increased to 280 characters except Chinese, Japanese and Korean). These messages are also called "Tweets". Twitter is described as "the Internet's SMS service”.

Twitch platform features

The video game streaming media on Twitch covers a wide range of game types, covering almost all game types on the market. These game types include real-time strategy games (RTS) ), fighting games, racing games, first-person shooters, and more.

The Twitch platform does not support watching video streaming on Sony PS3 (Twitch can support PS4). It can support Microsoft Xbox 360, but users need to use a special App to watch.

However, Twitch will change this situation in the near future. Twitch will soon develop an App application that can support all game console platforms.
