How to sign for the electronic documents of the court

Legal analysis: According to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, subject to the consent of the addressee, that is, if the addressee confirms in the confirmation letter of the service address of the people's court that the people's court can serve legal documents electronically, the addressee will sign for confirmation with the receipt code in the short message sent by the people's court. At the end of the short message sent by the people's court, the webpage link of the legal document and the signature code for entering the webpage will be attached, which is the way to sign for the electronic service of the addressee.

Legal basis: Article 87 of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), with the consent of the addressee, the people's court may serve litigation documents by fax, e-mail and other means that can confirm receipt, except for judgments, rulings and conciliation statements.

If it is delivered by the way mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the date when it reaches the recipient's specific system by fax or e-mail shall be the date of delivery.
