There may be the following situations when receiving a call from the Philippines:

1. Telephone fraud: Criminals may use camouflage software or rebranding software to make phone calls, claiming to be employees of the Philippine government or banks and other institutions to defraud the victims, guide them to transfer money and provide bank card information.
