Why is the anniversary of Nanyou Southeast of Nanjing Normal University the same day?

Nanjing Normal University and Southeast University have the same roots. The celebration of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications is purely coincidental.

Nanjing Normal University and Southeast University can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School founded in 1902, which is one of the cradles of higher normal education in China. After that, it went through the periods of Liangjiang Excellent Normal School, Nanjing Higher Normal School, Southeast University, Fourth Sun Yat-sen University, Jiangsu University, Central University and Nanjing University. 1952 National college departments were adjusted, and Nanjing Normal University was established on the basis of the former Nanjing University, Jinling University and other related departments, and the school site was located in the former Jinling Women's University. 1984 was transformed into Nanjing Normal University. 1952 nationwide faculty adjustment, liberal arts and other disciplines moved out. With the former Zhong Da Institute of Technology as the main body, it was merged into Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and Jinling University to establish Nanjing University of Science and Technology in the original site of Central University. /kloc-0 changed its name to Southeast University in May, 1988.
