How to close the advertisement in Xiaomi 5s

Category 1: closed in system application settings.

You can see most of the system application settings in Settings → System Application.

1. Security Center: Settings → System Application → Security Center → Close recommended content.

2. Garbage cleaning: Settings → System Application → Security Center → Garbage cleaning → Turn off "Information Recommendation".

3. File management: Settings → File management → Turn off "Popular videos" and "Popular expressions".

4. Browser: Settings → System Application → Browser → Message Notification Management → Close "Receive Message Notification".

5. Search: Settings → System Application → Search → Close the real-time hotspot.

6.App Store: Settings → System Application → App Store → Close "Receive Push Notification".

7. Xiaomi Video: Settings → System Application → Video → Turn off "Receive Xiaomi Push".

8. Xiaomi Music: Settings → System Application → Music → Turn off "Information Recommendation".

9. Game Center: Settings → System Application → Games → Turn off "Game Benefit Push".

Category II: Application for closure

Others can be set in specific applications, such as weather, file management, download management and so on.

1. file management: file management → "mobile phone" section → ellipsis in the upper right corner → settings → turn off "popular videos" and "popular expressions".

2. Download management: download management → ellipsis in the upper right corner → setting → information flow setting → closing "resource recommendation".

3. Desktop application folder: open the application folder → click the application folder name → close "Guess what you like".

4. Xiaomi Weather: Weather → ellipsis in the lower right corner (some versions are in the upper right corner) → Settings → Turn off "Weather Information".
