SMS can't query your bank card number. Payment card number

Each digit of the bank card number represents the number that identifies the information of the card issuer and the cardholder, and is mainly composed of the card issuer identification code, the custom bit and the check bit. At present, there are basically two kinds of bank cards, one is a common debit card, which consists of the digital code of 19. The other is a credit card, which usually consists of 16 digits.

(1) The first six digits of a bank card are the bank's identification code, that is, BIN. Simply put, you can determine which bank issued the card and the type of the card by the top six. For example, 62 1700 is China Construction Bank, and the first or the first two generally represent different card issuers. For example, China UnionPay at the beginning of 62. VISA cards start with 4, and some are MasterCard. Generally, the card number starts with 5 1, 52, 53, 54.

(2) The second part, starting from the seventh digit of the card number, is the personal account number identification, which generally consists of 6 to 12 digits. Personal account identification of each bank is somewhat different. Some banks include some code information of branches, sub-branches and training outlets in this part, while others are not so detailed, and will use natural operation order to code them.

(3) The third part is the last number we talked about, which is the parity bit. If the number before the card number is used to calculate the credit card or debit card, the last number is obtained. Then all this information is combined to form a digital card number. That is our bank card number. So the numbers on each bank card have different meanings, just like our ID card. After all, the bank card is full of our money. If the card numbers are the same, it may cause great trouble.

BIN, represented by 6 digits, appears in the first 6 digits of the card number and is distributed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to all bank card organizations engaged in inter-bank transfer and exchange. At present, domestic bank cards are divided into different bank card organizations according to different numbers. Among them, the bank card with the word "4" in the BIN number belongs to the VISA card organization, the bank card with the word "5" belongs to the MasterCard organization, the bank cards with the words "9", "62" and "60" belong to China UnionPay, and the UnionPay cards with the words "62" and "60" meet the requirements.
