For criminals sentenced to death with a two-year suspension of execution, life imprisonment, fixed-term imprisonment, criminal detention or control, the detention center will go through the formalities for them after receiving the notice of execution and the judgment of the people's court. Usually transferred to prison.

After receiving the release notice from the people's court, the people's procuratorate, the public security organ or the state security organ, the detention center shall go through the release procedures for the released person according to law. At the same time, a release certificate will be issued.

After receiving the certification documents from the relevant authorities, the detention center shall go through the formalities for the persons sentenced to reeducation through labor and transferred to foreign custody, and the case-handling organ shall hand them over to the corresponding institutions.
