How to renew Shenzhen foreign driver's license when it expires?

When the foreign driver's license expires, you can directly bring your ID card, driver's license and physical condition certificate to the nearest vehicle management office, and the replacement of your driver's license can be handled directly in different places.

According to Article 57 of the Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses, motor vehicle drivers should apply for the renewal of motor vehicle driving licenses at the motor vehicle management office at or outside the issuing place within 90 days before the expiration of the validity period. An application form shall be filled in when applying, and the following documents and vouchers shall be submitted:

(a) the identity certificate of the motor vehicle driver;

(2) Motor vehicle driving license;

(3) A certificate of physical condition issued by a medical institution at or above the county level or at the regiment level. To apply for a small automatic passenger car for the disabled, a physical condition certificate issued by a specialized medical institution designated by the Provincial Health Department shall be submitted.

Drivers holding driver's licenses for large buses, tractors, city buses, medium-sized buses and large trucks shall go to the traffic management department of the public security organ for verification within 30 days after the end of each scoring cycle. However, if there is no scoring record in a scoring cycle, it will be exempted from the verification of this scoring cycle.

A driver who holds a driver's license other than the quasi-driving type specified in the third paragraph of this article, who is equally responsible for the death caused by a traffic accident, and whose motor vehicle driver's license has not been revoked, shall go to the traffic management department of the public security organ for verification within 30 days after the end of this scoring cycle.
