My SMS function is broken. What happened?

If your mobile phone can't send and receive short messages, we suggest that you:

1. Check whether the phone bill is sufficient.

2. The attempt to move the location may be related to the signal of your location.

3. Check whether the information center number is entered correctly: information-menu key-settings-SMS settings-information center-set the information center number (please contact the local network operator for the information center number, and the telecom card is not set with the information center number).

Please have a look at whether to set up a blacklist. Settings-Click Call/Message Blocking-Click Message Blocking to select the number and phrase to block registration-Click Message Blocking List to delete the number inside.

5. Whether to set the upper limit of SMS reception, it is recommended to turn it off.

6. Whether the third-party communication software is installed or not, you may receive a short message, so it is recommended to uninstall it.

7. Try another SIM card, shut down and restart observation.

8. Back up important data and restore factory settings. Operation method: Settings-Reset/Privacy-Restore factory settings.

If the problem still exists, I suggest you take the purchase invoice and warranty card and send your mobile phone to the nearest Samsung service center for testing.
