Custom iphone ringtone tutorial

Customize iphone ringtones to make your phone more personalized. The following are the detailed steps to customize the ringtone.

Open itunes

Open itunes and select File-Add File to Library in the menu bar.

Choose a song

Select the song you want to ring, and then click Open.

Set the start time and stop time

This song will appear in "Music" in "Music Library". Right-click the song, select "Show Introduction", select "Options" and fill in "Start Time" and "Stop Time" (within 40 seconds). -"Confirm" PS: iPhone ringtone should be within 40 seconds.

Create ACC version

Right-click the song again and select "Create ACC Version". A file with the same file name but less than 40 seconds will appear.

Change file format

Right-click the newly created song, select Show in windows Explorer, change the format of "m4a" to "m4r", and select "Yes" in the pop-up window.

Check the bell

Find Preferences in the Edit menu bar in itunes, open Ringtones in Favorites-Sources, put a check in front of it, and then click OK. You can see Ringtones in the Database, and then open Ringtones to see if your files have been converted to ringtones.

Synchronous ringtone

Open iphone in Devices and select Ringtones, check Sync Ringtones, select All Ringtones or Selected Ringtones, and then select Sync.

After the ringtone is successfully synchronized, the ringtone will appear in Settings-Sound-Ringtone-Customize. To use this ringtone, just select it.
