Wuhan Road and Bridge Toll Management Center has set up 102 installation service points in the whole city, including 22 permanent fixed service points, 40 temporary fixed service points and 40 mobile installation points, covering three towns in Wuhan. Among them, 40 mobile installation points provide on-site installation services by appointment for large enterprises and institutions, streets and large communities.

The following motor vehicles shall be installed

Motor vehicles registered in this Municipality (except motorcycles) and foreign motor vehicles that have gone through the regular inspection procedures of motor vehicles in this Municipality shall install electronic tags in accordance with the provisions, and other foreign motor vehicles may choose to install electronic tags independently. In vehicles that are free of tolls, buses and trams should go through the formalities of exemption and install electronic tags.

The following materials are required for installation.

If the owner of a motor vehicle is an individual, the original identity certificate of the motor vehicle owner, the original motor vehicle driving license or motor vehicle registration certificate and the contact information of the motor vehicle owner shall be provided.

If it is entrusted, the original identity certificate of the agent is also required; If the owner of a motor vehicle belongs to a unit, it shall provide the original organization code certificate or business license (photocopy), the original motor vehicle driving license or motor vehicle registration certificate, the contact information of the relevant person in charge of the unit, and the original identity certificate of the agent.

The electronic tags of small motor vehicles are generally installed near the rearview mirror of the front windshield, the electronic tags of large motor vehicles are generally installed in the middle and lower part of the front windshield, and the electronic tags of special motor vehicles are determined by the installation staff according to the actual situation.

When installing the electronic tag, a certain fee can be pre-stored according to the personal needs of crossing the bridge and tunnel. If the one-time prepaid toll reaches the specified amount, the toll concession can be implemented.

Problems needing attention in use

The owner shall keep the electronic tag properly, and shall not disassemble it privately or damage it artificially. Pay attention to moistureproof, waterproof, anti-theft and strong magnetic protection to avoid damage. When a motor vehicle passes through the electronic toll collection node, it shall not exceed the speed specified by the speed limit sign on site and drive according to the specified road signs and markings.

What should I do if the label is damaged?

If the electronic tag cannot be used normally or is damaged or lost, the motor vehicle owner should immediately call the service hotline 965 12 to inform the Luqiao Toll Management Center and go to the service point for handling within 3 working days.

If the electronic tag is identified as non-human, it will be replaced free of charge; If the electronic tag is identified as the result of the motor vehicle owner, the motor vehicle owner shall bear the maintenance and replacement costs of the electronic tag; If the electronic tag is damaged or lost, it shall bear the cost of replacing the electronic tag.

How to go through the change procedures?

If the motor vehicle owner refits, changes the license plate, transfers the registration, etc. In the public security traffic control department, or the transfer of motor vehicle ownership for transfer registration, it shall provide the motor vehicle driving license or motor vehicle registration certificate and the handling certificate issued by the public security traffic control department, and go through the formalities for changing the electronic tag information at the road and bridge toll management center.

If the contact information registered by the motor vehicle owner when installing the electronic tag changes, it shall provide the original identity certificate of the motor vehicle owner and go through the formalities for changing the electronic tag information at the Luqiao Toll Management Center.

What if the vehicle is scrapped and stolen?

When the vehicle is scrapped, transferred or stolen, the owner needs to go to the Luqiao Toll Management Center to cancel the electronic tag and refund the pre-stored toll.

When handling the cancellation of electronic tags, it shall provide the certification materials such as scrapping, transfer, theft and locking issued by the public security traffic control department and the motor vehicle driving license or motor vehicle registration certificate.

After the electronic tag is returned to Luqiao Toll Management Center, Luqiao Toll Management Center will handle the refund formalities according to its account balance.

Is there a charge for changing the label?

It is necessary to check the electronic tag for the motor vehicle with the electronic tag replaced.

If the electronic tag is damaged or cannot be used normally due to non-human reasons, it will be repaired and replaced free of charge by the Luqiao Toll Management Center, and the owner of the motor vehicle does not need to pay the fee.

If it is identified as a human cause, the owner of the motor vehicle shall bear the cost of repairing and replacing the electronic tag.

Is the label harmful to human body?

The electronic tag is usually in a dormant state, and only works when it communicates with the antenna on the gantry through the toll bridge and tunnel, and enters a dormant state after the communication is completed. When the electronic tag communicates with the antenna, the emitted energy is only one tenth of that of the mobile phone.
