Will the court send a text message to inform you of the lawsuit?

The court will not send SMS notifications, as follows:

1. If you are sued, you will not receive the text message. As long as you are sued and accepted by the court, you will receive a summons from the court;

2. The ordinary court summons will be sent to the defendant by mail. The people's court has a formal service procedure for serving subpoenas, and the main way to serve subpoenas is for the parties to sign in person. Telephone notification is not a delivery method, and it needs to be delivered directly to the court.

Prosecution is the act of bringing a lawsuit to the court according to law and requesting the court to hear a specific case. The prosecution of criminal cases lies in asking the court to convict and sentence the defendant through trial; Bringing a criminal incidental civil action requires the court to investigate the defendant's economic compensation liability through trial. Prosecution must be carried out by citizens or legal persons who have the right to sue in a court with jurisdiction according to law. In our country, the prosecution of criminal cases mainly refers to the prosecution of the people's procuratorate. Only when the victim is told and other minor criminal cases do not need investigation can the victim or his legal representative file a private prosecution. Civil actions incidental to criminal proceedings can be brought by the victim and his legal representative, or by the people's procuratorate and the infringed legal person.

The service of litigation documents must have a receipt, and the addressee shall record the date of receipt, sign or seal it.

The date of receipt by the addressee on the service receipt shall be the date of service.

Litigation documents shall be served directly on the addressee. If the addressee is a citizen, I will not give it to his adult family to sign for it; If the addressee is a legal person or other organization, it shall be signed by the legal representative of the legal person, the principal responsible person of other organizations or the responsible person of the legal person or organization; If the addressee has an agent ad litem, he may send it to his agent for signature; If the addressee appoints an agent to the people's court, it shall send it to the agent for signature.

The date of receipt by the adult family members of the addressee, the legal person or other organization responsible for receiving, litigation agent or agent shall be the date of delivery.
