The difference between data migration and backup through AISI assistant

Migrating data and backing up are functionally different.

Migrating data means transferring all data from one device to another device, including applications, contacts, photos, videos, music, text messages, call records and so on.

Backup is to back up some or all of the data in the device to the computer, so as to quickly recover the data when the device has problems or needs to be replaced. The backup file contains data such as applications, contacts, photos, videos, music, short messages and call records.

Migrating data means transferring all the data to the new device, which can make the data on the new device almost the same as that on the old device. Backup is to back up some or all data to the computer, so as to recover the data when necessary. Therefore, backups can be used multiple times, while migrated data can only be used once.
