Unfortunately, the professor suddenly suffered a heart attack and passed away during class one day. Hachiko is very spiritual and doesn't want to believe this fact. He still waits at the same place every day for the person who is unlikely to come back. From a small dog to a big one, it is very sad to see the dog behind him getting old and vicissitudes of life. It even feels like the relationship between people and animals is more precious than the relationship between people.
