When Lollolo saw these laity running around like fools, he felt very interesting in his heart. If the Buddha is in the bamboo forest, tell the other person that the Buddha is in Jiufeng Mountain. If you are in Bibo Cave, you will be told that you are in Cigna Cave, which makes it impossible for these believers to meet the Buddha as they wish. They are tired of running around.

When the Buddha knew Luo's behavior, he thought that only by making Luo deeply aware of the mistake of lying could he really correct his behavior, otherwise severe intimidation would only have short-term effects.

One day, Luo saw that the Buddha had just returned from the city. He was very happy and immediately prepared foot washing water for the Buddha. Buddha decided to take this opportunity to educate Luo. When the Buddha washed his feet, he poured out the water and left only a little in the basin. He asked Luo, "Did you see it?" Then he poured all the water on the ground and asked, "Did you see it?" Then he tilted the washbasin to one side and asked, "Did you see it?" Finally, I put the whole basin upside down on the ground and asked Lolo the same thing: "Did you see it?"

Although Lolo was puzzled by the Buddha's behavior, he kept nodding and saying yes. The Buddha said: "Lolo, the law is in your heart, just like the water in a basin, only a little;" Now because of the habit of lying, the good dharma in your heart is like spilled water, and there is nothing left! Your teasing is like a tilted basin, people will no longer trust you and will despise you. In the end, you will be like an upside-down basin, even your own good roots will disappear, and you will never be able to put down any drop of Dharma water! "

Luo suddenly felt ashamed and immediately confessed to the Buddha: "merciful Buddha! Luo doesn't know the endless pain that lies bring to himself and others. I will never do it again from now on! " At this time, the Buddha smiled and nodded, praising Luo's courage to sincerely repent and his determination to never break through.

People often do wrong because of ignorance. Thanks to the clever metaphor, compassion and patient guidance of the Buddha, Luo not only realized the seriousness of lying, but also learned to respect himself and others. Since then, he has been diligent in practicing the teachings of the Buddha, and he has never relaxed, thus winning the sacred status of Lohan and winning the reputation of "the first person to practice secretly" among the disciples of the Buddha.
