Car companies ushered in a wave of bid change? Nissan Exposes New LOGO to Meet the Electrification Era

(Text/Zhang Wei) I have to say that it has become a fashion to update the brand LOGO of the car recently. Volkswagen, Toyota, BMW and other brands have used flatter logos to welcome the arrival of the electrification era. A few days ago, overseas media revealed that Nissan was applying for a brand new trademark.

Judging from the exposure map, the overall style of Nissan's new LOGO has not changed much. It adopts the popular flat design, replaces the three-dimensional chrome-plated style with simpler two-dimensional plane lines, and designs the two sides of Nissan as openings, which is more simple and modern visually.

Tracing back to the source, Nissan's new LOGO made its debut through the Ariya concept car as early as 20 19 Tokyo Motor Show. From the picture, the logo on the front grille is almost the same as the registered style.

In addition, Nissan's Z-series sports car also plans to replace the brand-new logo. Judging from the pictures exposed by overseas media, the Z-series LOGO is still dominated by the letter "Z", but the font is more retro. A diagonal line is added in the middle of the serif font "z", which is very similar to the original logo of 197 1 year 240Z.

Obviously, the replacement of the new brand LOGO has pinned the expectation that Nissan will re-establish its market image and revive its brand confidence. Previously, many auto giants, including BMW and Volkswagen, released brand-new LOGO to better meet the opportunities and challenges brought by brand digitalization. It is reported that Nissan's new logo has been registered in Britain, Peru, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina, and it is expected to be officially announced in April this year.
