What should be paid attention to in landscape design?

The depth of the pool should meet the requirements of relevant specifications.

Article 4.3.2 of Code for Park Design (CJJ 4892) stipulates that the water depth within 2.0m of artificial water body with hard bottom shall not be greater than 0.7m If this requirement cannot be met, a guardrail shall be set up. The water depth within 2.0m near the Garden Bridge and Pavilion without guardrails shall not be greater than 0.5m.

There should be safety protection facilities beside the swimming pool.

The specification requires that safety facilities must be set when the water depth is higher than 30cm.

2. Water source problem

In order to ensure the supply of water, the flow of water, the connection of water system and the smooth drainage should be considered comprehensively.

The water source mainly comes from three aspects: natural water source of rivers and lakes, tap water and treated reclaimed water.

Moreover, if there is no water treatment system in the community or the water treatment system is not closed, the huge daily water flow in the community will be wasted and cannot be recycled, leading to excessive consumption. Therefore, in the early planning of residential waterscape, we should grasp the principle of moderation, take into account the maintenance cost of later waterscape, and avoid flooding waterscape simply for the pursuit of short-term interests.

4. Others

According to the space and environment of the community, the waterscape should not be too complicated and repetitive, but simple and appropriate.
