You can use WeChat tags to group, one tag and one group.

1. First open WeChat, and then select Address Book, as shown in the following figure:

2, and then select the label as shown in the figure below:

3. Then select New, as shown in the figure below:

4. Then select the friend to mark, and then select Finish as shown in the figure below:

5, and then enter the label, and finally select finish as shown in the figure below:

The grouping setting is completed, so there is grouping.
