The Temple of Heaven is a place where emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties worship heaven, pray for rain and pray for a bumper harvest. Mainly divided into inner altar and outer altar. The architectural structure of Tiantan Park is very exquisite, with some strange buildings such as echo wall and three-tone stone, from which we can see the wisdom of the ancients.

Generally, when visiting the Temple of Heaven Park, you can visit the Dome, the Imperial Dome, the Single Pen Bridge, the Hall of Praying for the New Year and the Huanggan Hall in turn. It should be noted that the fasting palace and the sacrificial pavilion are closed on Mondays.

The earliest building in the Temple of Heaven was the Hall of Praying for the Year, where Meng Chun prayed for the valley. The Hall of Prayer for the New Year is the landmark building of the Temple of Heaven. There are 28 wooden pillars of Jin Sinan in the Hall of Prayer for the New Year, including dragons, phoenixes and painted seals. The whole building is very magnificent.

The echo wall is the circular wall of the imperial vault. The wall adopts the brick floor in Linqing, Shandong Province, with a blue glazed tile roof.

The door for praying for the New Year is the building at the top of the palace, and the third room is the door, the Baiji stone pillar. This is the case with the highest-level door system in ancient China, which worships the gods and is the original building in the early Ming Dynasty.
