The former site of Zhong * * Dinghai Working Committee is located at Chenwuli 15, Huimin Bridge, Wuxie Community, Lincheng Street, Dinghai District, with a construction area of 2 16 square meters. It was built in the Republic of China and was the location of the leading organ of Zhong * * Dinghai Underground Working Committee in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period.

Dinghai Working Committee was established in June 1938 and June 1939. After the Japanese invaders invaded Dinghai Chengguan and shenjiamen Town, the county working committee went to the countryside, first to Houao Village in Bai Quan, and then moved to Wuxie (present address) on June 1940, insisting on War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Party branches and trade unions have been established in Dong 'ao, Wuxie and Changzhi, and literacy classes and adult evening classes have been held in schools to carry out anti-Japanese propaganda. 1943 10, the anti-Japanese armed forces in the eastern base area were transferred to eastern Zhejiang, and the Central Dinghai Working Committee went underground to continue leading the people in Dinghai to resist Japan until the end of the war.

At first, there were only two former sites of the Working Committee, namely, the main room adjacent to Zhujiazhutang and the Shetou room in the east, with a construction area of about 94 square meters. 1999 Zhoushan Municipal Government allocated 200,000 yuan and Lincheng Street invested 50,000 yuan to buy 4 houses on the south side of Shetoujian and carry out maintenance, and set aside an open space on the southeast side of the former site of the Working Committee as a parking lot. After the expansion, the construction area of the former site of the Working Committee reached 2 16 square meters.

Dinghai Working Committee is the backbone of leading Dinghai people to resist Japan. Leading the people in Dinghai to carry out guerrilla warfare and establish anti-Japanese base areas has dealt a blow to the arrogance of the Japanese puppet troops and contributed to China's final victory over the Japanese aggressors. The Dinghai Working Committee has also trained and developed a number of party member and revolutionary backbones, such as Yang Jingjuan, Zhang Shuxin, Lou, etc. All of them died heroically for the people's interests in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the subsequent People's Liberation War. It is of great historical significance for the former site of Dinghai Working Committee to educate future generations on patriotism and inspire the spirit of national self-improvement. 1993 was announced as a district-level cultural relics protection unit in Dinghai district, and 1995 was listed as the second batch of patriotic education bases in Zhoushan city.

The former site of the Central Dinghai Working Committee is located in the jurisdiction of the new city, between Dinghai and the new city, 50 meters west of Haitian Avenue, and the traffic is very convenient. Lincheng was once brilliant in history. According to legend, during the Western Zhou Dynasty, Xu Yanwang once lived in Wengzhou and built a program. Song Baoqing's "Guo Chang County Records" reads: "Wengshan belongs to Wengzhou, three miles east of the county seat, where Xu Yanwang lives. The city site still exists today. " Three miles east of the county seat, which is now Lincheng. At present, there are still many records related to Xu Yanwang in Lincheng literature, such as Rebecca Temple, Chen 'ao Mountain, Jinqishan Mountain and Chongfeng Mountain. Because there is no exact physical evidence, almost all these records have become hearsay, which is difficult to verify.

As the current political center and the future cultural, educational and service center of Zhoushan, the new town needs a kind of historical culture as a support, and the former site of China Dinghai Working Committee can just meet this demand. Zhoushan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Television Press and Publication adheres to the policy of "protection first, rescue first, rational utilization and strengthening management". Under the premise of not changing the original state of cultural relics and their historical environment and minimizing interference, it adheres to scientific, moderate, sustained and rational utilization, protects the original cultural relics of the former site of the Central Maritime Working Committee, rectifies the surrounding environment, and transforms the original houses into buildings with the same architectural style as the former site of the Working Committee in the construction control zone of the former site of the Working Committee. Now that the renovation work has been completed, it needs to be re-displayed. After the exhibition, it will be open to visitors for free.
