The main responsibilities of the Guiyang Municipal Justice Bureau

(1) Responsible for studying the implementation measures of comprehensively governing the country according to law and the provincial decision-making and deployment in our city, and organizing and carrying out major tasks for comprehensively governing the city according to law Policy research on issues, coordinating relevant parties to propose medium- and long-term planning suggestions for comprehensively governing the city according to law, and responsible for the supervision of major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the provincial party committee, and the municipal party committee.

(2) Undertake government legislative work. Responsible for the organization, coordination, supervision and guidance of government legislation. Organize the collection of proposed projects for the annual legislative plan and the government regulations legislative project library. Organize the drafting of the municipal government's annual legislative plan and track the implementation of the municipal government's annual legislative plan. Draft or organize the drafting and review of relevant local regulations and government regulations. Undertake the specific work of interpreting municipal government regulations. Organize and carry out the review and post-legislation evaluation of government regulations. Undertake the compilation of municipal government regulations, organize the translation and review of official foreign language translations of municipal government regulations.

(3) Responsible for coordinating and promoting the construction of a law-based government.

(4) Responsible for the legality review work before the issuance of administrative normative documents of the Municipal People's Government and the General Office of the Municipal People's Government.

(5) Responsible for the legal advisory work of the Municipal People’s Government.

(6) Responsible for overall planning and construction of a rule of law society.

(7) Guide and manage community correction work. Provide guidance on the placement and education of persons released from prison.

(8) Responsible for the management of judicial administration drug treatment facilities.

(9) Responsible for formulating plans for the construction of the public legal service system and guiding its implementation, and coordinating the layout of urban, rural and regional legal service resources. Guide and supervise the management of lawyers, legal aid, judicial appraisal, notarization and grassroots legal services.

(10) Responsible for the organization and implementation of the city’s national unified legal professional qualification examination.

(11) Responsible for the management of the system’s firearms, ammunition, clothing and vehicles, and guide and supervise the system’s financial, equipment, facilities, site and other security work.

(12) Plan, coordinate, and guide work related to the construction of the rule of law talent team. Guide and supervise the team building of this system. Guide and manage the police service and police rank evaluation work of this system, and be responsible for the police inspection work of this system.

(13) In combination with departmental responsibilities, do a good job in military-civilian integration, poverty alleviation and development and other related work. Increase investment in science and technology, improve scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and provide guarantee for promoting innovation-driven development. Responsible for the production safety and fire safety work of this department and industry. Carry out work related to big data development and application and government data resource management in accordance with regulations.

(14) Complete other tasks assigned by the municipal party committee, municipal government and the Provincial Department of Justice.
