6. Formulate a system for investigating and resolving contradictions and disputes between letters and visits and organize their implementation. Establish and improve the information collection and analysis mechanism of letters and visits. Guide the construction and application of the city's petition information system. Coordinate the propaganda and information release of letters and visits;
7, undertake the organization and coordination of the municipal government to review the petitions, and be responsible for accepting and handling the petitions submitted by the petitioners to the municipal government;
8, responsible for accepting and handling petitions transferred by the State Bureau for Letters and Calls and the Provincial Bureau for Letters and Calls;

10, complete other tasks assigned by the municipal party committee and municipal government.
Legal basis: Article 6 of the Regulations on Letters and Visits.
People's governments at or above the county level shall set up petition offices; The working departments of the people's governments at or above the county level and the people's governments of townships and towns shall, in accordance with the principle of favorable work and convenience for the petitioners, determine the institutions or personnel responsible for the petition work (hereinafter referred to as the petition work institutions), and be specifically responsible for the petition work. The petition work organization of the people's government at or above the county level is the administrative organization responsible for the petition work of the people's government at the corresponding level, and shall perform the following duties:
