On College Computer Rank Examination

The National Computer Rank Examination (NCRE) is a national computer proficiency examination system approved by the former State Education Commission (now the Ministry of Education) and sponsored by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education. It is geared to the society and used to test candidates' computer application knowledge and skills.

These include:

Level 1: Operation skill level. Check the basic computer knowledge and computer operation ability, including office software, graphics and image software, and network security quality education.

Level 2: Advanced application level of programming/office software. The assessment content includes computer language and basic programming ability, and participants are required to master a computer language. Optional categories include high-level language programming and database programming. The second level also includes the advanced application ability of office software, which requires participants to have computer application knowledge and advanced application ability of MS office software, and be able to make specific applications in the actual office environment.

Level 3: Engineer Preparatory Level. The third-level certificate examines the application-oriented and career-oriented job professional skills.

Level 4: Engineer level. The CET-4 certificate is aimed at candidates who have already held relevant certificates of CET-3, and it is an applied and career-oriented engineer post certificate.

Applicants are not restricted by age, occupation, education, etc. And you can choose the corresponding grades and subjects according to your own learning situation and actual ability. Candidates can register online or at test sites according to the procedures announced by the provincial organizers.

The NCRE exam adopts the 100 scoring system, but candidates' scores will be notified to them in the form of scores. The grades are divided into excellent, good, passing and failing. 100-90 was rated as excellent, 89-80 as good, 79-60 as passing, and 59-0 as failing.

If the examination results are excellent, the words "excellent" shall be marked on the certificate; If the test scores are good, indicate "good" on the certificate; Those who pass the exam should indicate "qualified" on the certificate.

Since 1994 began, NCRE has adapted to the needs of the development of market economy. With the continuous development of examinations, the number of candidates has increased year by year.
