Dangshan Suli is sweet in taste and has the functions of clearing away heat and nourishing yin, soothing the throat and promoting fluid production, moistening the throat and reducing phlegm. Dangshan Suli has a history of thousands of years. It was a royal tribute during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The main varieties include golden-skinned puff pastry, white-skinned puff pastry, green-skinned puff pastry, and fu-skinned puff pastry, among which the golden-skinned puff pastry has the best quality. Dangshan Suli Cup, one of the 10 municipal signature dishes in Suzhou City, uses Dangshan Suli Pear as raw material. The main production method is as follows: Peel the Suzhou pear (retain the skin), hollow out the inner part of the Suzhou pear with a spoon to form a "cup" "; Put wild rice, quinoa, etc. into the pear cup, add mountain spring water to the pot, add crispy pears and peel, then add old rock sugar, wolfberry, etc. and simmer slowly; wait until the surface of the crispy pears is golden and soft, The shape becomes smaller and the soup is thicker and ready to be served. Dangshan Suli has won the gold medal at the National Agricultural Exposition for consecutive years. In 1993, it won the "Dragon Horse Gold Medal" at the Thailand International Expo.
