Can't we put up red Spring Festival couplets at home during the Spring Festival?

Customs vary from place to place, and there are generally two ways to do it: First, don't stick Spring Festival couplets. The other is to paste other colors. Don't post red couplets and funeral couplets during the Spring Festival when an old man dies at home. The shooting can be the same as before. Don't paste Spring Festival couplets in red. Setting off firecrackers and posting couplets are signs of happy events. Of course, we can't set off firecrackers and put up couplets when our dead relatives are sad. But if the old man at home dies, it is called a "funeral" and firecrackers and couplets are set off.

For example, in Hubei, yellow represents missing the newly deceased relatives, purple and blue represent the second year of offering sacrifices to the deceased, and green represents the third year of offering sacrifices to the deceased. In some places, white represents missing relatives who have just passed away.

In my hometown of Shijiazhuang, my parents, grandparents and other immediate family members passed away. Due to the death of the child, the Spring Festival couplets will not be posted or the purple couplets will be posted next year, and the red couplets can be posted later. As far as Shijiazhuang is concerned, different counties and districts have different customs.
