Nanyang rose base is located in Shiqiao Town, the northern suburb of Nanyang, an outstanding tourist city in China and a national garden city. It was founded by Mr. Zhao in 1983. It is a private enterprise integrating scientific research, production and sales, specializing in the production of rose seedlings.

The roses distributed in Nanyang Shiqiao are of many varieties. The total rose supply accounts for 80% of the domestic market, and the annual export volume accounts for 60% of the total rose seedling exports.

In 1995, the rose was named the city flower by the Nanyang Municipal Government. In 2000, Nanyang Shiqiao was named the "Hometown of Rose" by the State Forestry Administration and the China Flower Association. In late spring and early summer, when the flowers bloom, the ancient city of Nanyang is in full bloom, and tourists rush to admire the beautiful scenery of the "Queen of Flowers".

The base focuses on the business policy of characteristic production, maintaining focus, and developing famous and high-quality products, constantly updating products, and carrying out activities in the cultivation of new varieties, application of new technologies, pest control, soil improvement, fertilization, seedling preservation, and extended dormancy. In 2005, it successfully passed the ISO9001 quality management system certification and has now entered the Dutch MPS International Flower Certification. The base has 2 research institutes and 8 management areas, 3 3,000 cubic meters of constant temperature fresh-keeping warehouses and a Suzhou demonstration area office. Since 2000, Nanyang Rose Base has been rated as "Leading Enterprise in China's Rose Hometown" and "Key Leading Enterprise in Nanyang City's Agricultural Industrialization".
