Are Wulanchabu and Jining the same place?

Wulanchabu and Jining are not the same place. Wulanchabu is a prefecture-level city in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, while Jining is a municipal district of Wulanchabu. Wulanchabu is located in northern China and central Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Jining District, located in Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is the central city of Wulanchabu.

Wulanchabu and Jining

Wulanchabu borders Hebei Province in the east, Xilin Gol League in the northeast, Shanxi Province in the south, Hohhot in the southwest, Baotou in the northwest and Mongolia in the north.

Jining District is located in the middle of Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, at the southern foot of Huiteng Liangshan City, the yinshan mountains, with 40 01'north latitude and110' east longitude.

Wulanchabu is known as "Cloud Valley of Grassland", "Summer Capital of Grassland in China", "Wind Power Capital of Three Gorges in the Air", "Lucky Grassland Home of China" and "Potato Capital of China".
