Why are there so many fitness experts in the United States? Just look at American gyms and you will know

Foreword: This article was written in winter, the weather was cold, and when I went to the gym, there were piles of snow that had not yet melted on both sides of the road. In this way, the articles are quietly lying in my private collection. Winter has passed, and now it is spring to sort them out and publish them.

Text:

The weather is getting colder and colder, so I used to insist on walking briskly outdoors every afternoon and switched to exercising in the gym. In order to choose a good gym, my husband and I visited several. Now I will briefly introduce the American gyms that I have seen.

Why do we often see many fitness experts in the United States? Reasons why Americans are keen on fitness:

1. Good social welfare prompts more people to pursue different interests and hobbies, and also greatly stimulates human beings, especially men, to have a desire for "higher, faster, and stronger". The pursuit of "strongness" has also inspired women's pursuit of body shape and beauty.

The economic development in the Western world is faster than that in China, and coupled with generally good welfare, local people do not need to spend too much time worrying about their livelihood. In this way, some people who are not interested in survival are slowly formed and cultivated. Hobbies, fitness is one of them. Just imagine, when good compulsory education and perfect social welfare are within reach, and in a society where people are relatively respected, would you be willing to spend more time on things that today seem to be unhelpful to "Chinese-style success"? and have the greatest possibility to develop your own interests and hobbies while improving your physical fitness?

2. Dietary intake. Muscle synthesis requires a certain amount of protein. Chinese food contains less protein and more carbohydrates, coupled with China’s wine table culture. Eating a large amount of Chinese food makes people who are not exercising prone to puffiness, and those who are exercising are prone to muscular obesity.

Puffiness: Please refer to the men around you who do not often participate in sports, but actively participate in meals. Muscular obesity: People who consume too many carbohydrates but regularly perform strength training, refer to sumo wrestlers, and Shaquille O'Neal and Eddie Curry in the NBA.

3. Popularization of fitness knowledge. In the United States, there are not many personal trainers in gyms, but everyone is very knowledgeable about fitness. You can find very detailed free fitness plans online. In China, it's hard to find a good free program, and the quality of personal trainers in gyms varies.

Although the cultural traditions and ideologies of countries around the world are completely different, many things fall into the category of "vast world trends", such as fitness culture. Fitness is a higher level of health. After the reform and opening up, people's living conditions began to improve. Coupled with the popularity of European football and American basketball on television, everyone has a new understanding of physical fitness.

From the fact that most people in China were still living in a subsistence class a few decades ago, to the popularity of melatonin in the country ten years ago, to the gyms that have sprung up like mushrooms in domestic first- and second-tier cities in recent years, it can be seen that the Chinese people have a strong interest in Health emphasis. Apart from these, the stories of ancient Chinese emperors pursuing the elixir of life, the extensive and profound Chinese martial arts culture, and the knights with both civil and military skills passed down orally in storytelling stories can also be seen in people's pursuit of health in ancient China. . In Europe and the United States, the fitness atmosphere is quite good. Many universities will provide very good fitness facilities for their students and the "neighbors" living nearby.

For men, fitness can greatly hone their will. From another perspective, a healthy and strong body is more worthy of the natural competitiveness and the original desire of men to conquer. A longing for the world. For women, proper fitness exercises can lead to a more beautiful and healthy body, which can also enhance their own charm.

It is currently winter, and it is freezing and snowy outside, but it has not dampened foreigners’ enthusiasm for fitness at all.

Whether gyms in the United States are open to the public or in universities, the facilities are generally better. It can be said that they are similar. This time I give a brief introduction to large, medium and small gyms, which can be regarded as an introduction to what most gyms in the United States look like.

Outside the gym, it was freezing and snowy.

The aerobic equipment, dumbbell area, and the corner of the gantry in the new gymnasium

The yellow sky above the equipment area of ??the new gymnasium Part of it is an open indoor track on the third floor of the new building.

On the third floor of the new gym, there is an indoor track and relatively new aerobic equipment: such as rowing machines and elliptical machines that rely on the arms.

One corner of the indoor track, core strength training area, gantry rack and free TRX

Indoor swimming pool

Multi-functional indoor arena (indoor football, basketball and volleyball)

Old gymnasium basketball hall

Strength training area in the old gymnasium

Squash and table tennis area in the old gymnasium

Dance room and TRX training rack open to everyone

On the first floor of the gym, there is a rock climbing gym

The gym below is similar, medium-sized. In the entrance hall and front desk, there are sportswear displays and a coffee and beverage lounge in the center of the hall.

This gym is designed in two floors, this is the first floor.

There are many young people on the second floor. Computers are placed in front of every fitness equipment in the United States for easy viewing during exercise. This will attract many young people to exercise and have fun at the same time, without delaying both.

This equipment is a strong exercise for the calf muscles.

Specially set up a children's fitness area. Very nice

A corner of the hall

The bottom is from a small gym, which has only one floor. Complete equipment. The yoga classroom here is an independent setting. I love yoga and the quiet exercise.

The fees are also very nice and it’s very close to my home.

My husband and I only have 20 US dollars per month. With an electronic card key to the gym, you can come and exercise whenever you want. Sometimes, during peak exercise times, my husband and I are almost the only ones in the entire gym.

Below is a yoga classroom. It should be noted that the teacher is the vedio on the wall. You can open it by yourself and follow the teacher's movements on the screen to complete it. Unlike in China where there are one-to-one guidance from specialized teachers. Fortunately, every time I exercise, my body and bones are stretched, and my love for yoga becomes deeper and deeper. I finally understand the transformation of my best friend Huiping who has been practicing yoga for 2 years. The body is soft, the waist is straight and graceful.

The small gym is also equipped with coffee drinks, which are free and paid. The paid ones are required for automatic coin deposit and self-retrieval.

On this day, there were only two of us, my husband and I, so it felt like we had a private room.

I mainly practice yoga. This equipment is helpful for the cervical spine, so after yoga, I will occasionally exercise.

There are almost no coaches in the entire gym, and each piece of equipment has instructions telling athletes which part of the body the equipment will help. Coaching is only for one-on-one paid practice.

The whole year begins with spring. When spring comes, do you have a fitness plan for the whole year?
