Brief introduction of safety signs and their use guide

The technical content of this standard is mandatory.

This standard refers to the safety signs used in ISO IS07010 Graphica1SYMBO1S-Safety Co1OURS and Safety Signs-work p 1CES and Pub 1IC. Combined with GB/T 1000 1{ Graphic symbols for marking public information * * * and GB 13495 fire safety signs, the area (graphic symbols-safety colors and safety signs-safety signs in workplaces and public areas) was revised and supplemented.

This standard is applicable to the current national standards GB 2894- 1996 Safety Signs, GB16179-1996 Safety Signs Usage Guide and GB18217-.

Compared with GB 2894- 1996, GB16179-1996 and GB 182 17-2000, the changes in this standard mainly include:

—— According to the requirements of GB/T 1. 1, implement GB 2894- 1996, GB16179-1996 and GB1896.

Moreover, the standard text was supplemented, revised and redrafted;

-adjusting the scope of application;

-38 graphic symbols have been added: Forklifts and motor vehicles are forbidden to pass, push, stretch out of windows, lean, sit and lie down, pedal, put your hand in, turn on wireless mobile communication equipment, carry metal objects or watches, wear pacemakers to approach signs, implant metal materials, swim, skate, carry weapons and simulated weapons, and carry inflammable and explosive articles. It is forbidden to carry toxic and harmful liquids, radioactive and magnetic substances, and be careful of automatic starting, collision, squeezing, pinching hands, dogs, hot surfaces, low temperature, magnetic field, forklifts, falling, falling into water, gaps, goggles, washing hands, grounding, unplugging, emergency shelter, smashing boards, first aid points and emergency telephones.

—— Five graphic symbols have been modified: No touching, No drinking, Beware of hanging objects, obstacles and slipping;

—— Reduce 1 graphic symbol: beware of poisonous gas;

—— The scope, location, model selection, setting height and use requirements of newly added or modified safety sign graphics are specified.

It will replace GB 2894- 1996, GB16179-1996 and GB 182 17-2000 from the date of implementation.

Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C are normative appendices.
