When did Tongxiang Chrysanthemum Festival begin in 2007?

Tongxiang is named "China Chrysanthemum Town" by the Ministry of Agriculture. Chrysanthemum morifolium has been planted for more than 300 years, with an annual planting area of about 40,000 mu and an output of more than 5,000 tons, accounting for two-thirds of the country. Tongxiang people love, plant and appreciate chrysanthemums, and the tradition of entertaining guests with chrysanthemums is far-reaching and long-standing. Every autumn, Tongxiang people decorate the whole city with chrysanthemums, and build a unique chrysanthemum sea eco-tourism base with chrysanthemums everywhere, so that guests from afar can bathe in the flowers in October, approach Tongxiang, experience the romance of flowers, and feel the unique sincerity and simplicity of the owner of this field. As a result, Tongxiang has an annual Chrysanthemum Festival.

Tongxiang City holds the Chrysanthemum Festival around 1 1.9 every year. There are large-scale cultural performances, watching the Chrysanthemum Sea on the spot, visiting the Chrysanthemum Sea maze and tasting chrysanthemum tea. At the same time, there are activities such as the tour of Wuzhen, an ancient water town, and the tour of sericulture and silk culture in China.
