What are the requirements for the site suitable for breeding bees?

The quality of beekeeping site is the key to the success or failure of beekeeping. Especially when releasing bees, you need to choose the location carefully. The site selection has the following conditions:

1. Rich honey sources:

Within 2 kilometers, there are at least two main honey sources throughout the year, and there should be some auxiliary honey sources with staggered flowering periods. In the honey source where the flowering period is short and the honey overflows, it is best to put the bees in the downwind direction slightly lower than the honey source, which is beneficial for the bees to go against the wind on an empty stomach and go home from the mountain with full load. It is also good that the bee farm is located in the middle of the honey source.

2. Adequate water sources:

Bees should not be placed near the three wastes pollution, toilets, barns and pig houses. And there should be no rivers, rivers and lakes between the honey source and the bee farm to avoid bees being buried in the nest before it rains.

3. The terrain is gentle and dry.

4. Convenient transportation.

5. Suitable environment:

Bees like to be quiet, so they can't build factories around schools, factories and enterprises.
