Bazhong middle school, Sichuan Province, formerly known as Yunping Academy, was founded in 1868 (the seventh year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty). It has a history of 140 years. Yan, Dong Xiuwu and others have studied and lived here. 1982 was rated as the first batch of key middle schools in Sichuan province, and in 2004 it was rated as the national model ordinary high school in Sichuan province.

Bazhong middle school, also known as Bazhong No.1 Middle School, is located at No.2 Bajiaolou Street, Bazhou District, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province. It is a school directly under the Education Bureau of Bazhong City, a municipal key middle school and a provincial demonstration ordinary high school. The school was founded in 1868, ranking 339 in China.

As of July, 20 19, there were three campuses in bazhong middle school: Headquarters, Xingwen and Longhu. Among them, Longhu Campus is located next to the return air section of the South Second Ring Road in Bazhou District, and it is one of the top ten key construction projects in Bazhong City, covering an area of more than 300 mu. According to the software and hardware requirements of the first-class demonstration high school in Sichuan Province, it can accommodate 3,000 students. There are 50 classes, including 6 Hongzhi classes and 2 art classes.
