Tang Mingshan is located in Yuexi County, Anhui Province, in the hinterland of Dabie Mountain in southwest Anhui Province, 42 kilometers away from the county seat. Tangmingshan belongs to Dabie Mountain system, which is formed by winding multi-pointed mountains and highlights three peaks. The elevation of the main peak is1563m, which is the junction of ancient Wu Chu. According to legend, more than 265,438,000 years ago, when Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, made a "Tang Ming" to worship Tianzhu Mountain, hence the name Tianzhu Mountain. People call Tianzhu Mountain "Gongwan Mountain" and Tang Mingshan Mountain "Anhui Mother Mountain", because its beautiful mountain shape echoes the majestic height of Tianzhu Mountain, and it belongs to Anhui Province, only a hundred miles apart. There is a saying that "the two mountains are actually long and meet as a couple" because there is a natural rooster pattern on the stone wall of the main peak of Tang Ming, which looks like a comb from the north, so it is also called "Jigong Mountain".
