Huawu is five schools in East China, including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University and China University of Science and Technology.

Among the five schools in East China, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University are located in Shanghai, a municipality directly under the Central Government of China, while Nanjing University, Zhejiang University and China University of Science and Technology are located in the capital cities of Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province respectively.

These five universities located in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone in the east of China are generally considered to be the universities in Chinese mainland after Peking University and Tsinghua University.

Fudan university 1

Located in Shanghai, China, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the central government is directly in charge of the establishment of the deputy ministerial level, the 985 Project and the 21/Project Construction University. It is a world-renowned top national key university. In 2000, the former Fudan University and the former Shanghai Medical University merged into the new Fudan University.

2. Shanghai Jiaotong University

Shanghai Jiaotong University, located in Shanghai, is one of the most famous institutions of higher learning with the longest history in China, ranking as "985 Project" and "21/project". The school was founded in 1896 with a history of more than one hundred years.

3. Nanjing University

Nanjing University is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a century-old prestigious school with a long history and outstanding reputation. Nanjing University can be traced back to imperial academy, Nanjing in the first year of Sun Wu Yong 'an (258). Nanjing University is one of the birthplaces of modern science in China, and it is also the only university among the first nine high-level universities in the "985 Project" that has not merged with other universities.

4. Zhejiang University

Zhejiang University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the best in "2 1 1 project" and "985 project". As one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by China people, it is a comprehensive national key university, which was once called "Oriental Cambridge" by Needham, a famous British scholar.

5. China University of Science and Technology

China University of Science and Technology (HKUST), located in Hefei, Anhui Province, is one of the first 20 universities with independent degree examination rights. China University of Science and Technology 1958 was established in Beijing in September.
