As the scale of production and operation continues to expand, the emissions of chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides decreased by 2.5%, 4.2%, 8.1%, and 3.9% respectively year-on-year. Industrial wastewater emissions fell by 8.0%, and external sewage discharges dropped by 8.0%. The pass rate reached 99.3%, an increase of 0.4 percentage points, and the comprehensive energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of output value decreased by 0.61%.

Continue to improve oil quality and provide clean energy. In recent years, my country's oil quality has been upgraded at a rapid pace. Since 2000, the automotive gasoline and diesel standards have been upgraded from National One to National Five. The sulfur content of gasoline has dropped from no more than 1,000 ppm in 2000 to no more than 10 ppm in National Five. It's down 99%. During the same period, Sinopec invested a total of 261.5 billion yuan in the refining sector to continuously improve the quality of oil products. At present, it has supplied National Five clean oil products to 7 provinces and cities including Beijing and Shanghai in advance.
