What does the policy of double reduction and double increase mean?

The double reduction policy refers to reducing the excessive academic burden and off-campus training burden of students in compulsory education. The policy of double increase refers to increasing students' opportunities to participate in sports, art and sports on the one hand, and increasing students' study time in sports, music and art on the other.

The state, society, schools and families should educate minors in ideals, morality, science, culture, the rule of law, national security, health and labor, strengthen patriotism, collectivism and Socialism with Chinese characteristics education, cultivate public morality of loving the motherland, people, labor, science and socialism, resist the erosion of capitalism, feudalism and other decadent ideas, and guide minors to establish and practice socialism.
