2. Assembly: Several parts are installed on a basic part to form an assembly. For example, the transmission shaft in the reducer is an assembly composed of shaft, gear, key and other parts. Component assembly is to install several parts on another basic part to form an assembly (independent mechanism). Such as headstock, feed box and tailstock of lathe.

Any machine and equipment is composed of many parts. The process of combining a number of qualified parts into parts according to the specified technical requirements and making them into qualified products through adjustment and testing is called assembly. Assembly is the last process of machine manufacturing, so it is the key to ensure that the machine meets all technical requirements. Assembly quality plays an important role in product quality.

The responsibilities of the assembler are:

1. Implement process discipline and operate according to the requirements of product drawings, process documents and technical standards; Implement the system of self-inspection, mutual inspection and special inspection, do a good job in pre-installation inspection of parts, and put an end to hidden dangers and rework; Complete all production tasks with high quality, high efficiency, low consumption and on time to ensure the seriousness of production plan; Conscientiously implement the operation procedures, and correctly use the maintenance equipment, tooling and measuring tools to ensure their accuracy and integrity.

2, to ensure safety in production, to prevent personal and equipment accidents, to achieve civilized production, keep the production area clean and tidy, the workpiece is stored in a fixed place, the road is smooth; Fill in all kinds of original records accurately and on time, manage all kinds of technical documents used and do a good job of handover; Participate in study and on-the-job training, and constantly improve their own quality. Operate mechanical equipment or use tooling and tools to execute mechanical equipment parts.
