On February 8th, BYD Auto also announced that it would assist in the production of masks and disinfectant, which is expected to be mass-produced and shipped around February 17th. By the end of February, the production capacity of masks will reach 5 million/day, and the production capacity of disinfectant will reach 5, bottles/day.

Guangzhou Automobile Group has a more flexible thinking and decided to be self-reliant. On the one hand, it chose self-made equipment, on the other hand, it sent technicians to learn from mask manufacturers. According to the plan, GAC plans to cooperate with suppliers to make 3 to 5 sets of self-made equipment. On February 11th, the first mask production equipment of GAC began to be installed and debugged. It is expected that 12 sets of self-made equipment will be completed on February 22nd and 3 sets will be completed by the end of February.

For automobile enterprises, it is not difficult to produce masks and other protective products, or even a piece of cake. Automobile is the most complicated product in industrial production. If the production of masks alone is not enough to give full play to the ability of automobile enterprises, GAC Group has sent two batches of 18 technicians to the mask factory since February 9 to help them improve their efficiency and production capacity in terms of technology, quality and on-site management.
