Where does Gulou Village belong?

Gulou Village is located in the northwest of Pucheng County. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Gulou Township and the seat of the township government. Gulou Village borders Shangyun and Yeshan Villages of Hong Kong to the east; Lishan Village of Hong Kong to the west; shares water with Dayang Village of Hong Kong to the south, 62 kilometers away from the county seat and 40 kilometers from Punan Expressway; and borders Zhongtan Village of Hong Kong to the north. It is 8 kilometers away from the border of Jiangxi Province and 40 kilometers away from the border of Zhejiang Province. The village now has a population of 1,800 people, 458 households, and jurisdiction over 9 natural villages and 16 villager groups.

Gulou Village is an old revolutionary base village. It was the revolutionary base of the Red Army and one of the important ways for Jiangxi Guangfeng to invade Fujian. During the Agrarian Revolution, General Su Yu came to Fujian from Guangfeng, Jiangxi Province and stayed overnight in Gulou Village. He held a meeting in the "Wu Cuo" in Gulou Village in the evening. The revolutionary slogans on the earthen wall of "Wu Cuo" are still preserved to this day. In the old days, Gulou Village was called "Li Village", which means that it is twenty miles from the "head of the village" to the "end of the village". The names "Touhou" and "End of the Village" are still used today. The scenery in the village is unique. There is a poem saying: The tree has three kinds of leaves, the bridge has three steps and two rolls, the stream turns back, the lion dominates the mouth of the water, and the elephant's trunk turns back. Nowadays, Gulou Village has beautiful mountains and clear water. It is the dividing point between the water sources of Minjiang River and Jiujiang River. At "Zhulingtou" 3 kilometers away from the village, the water flows to the south and enters the Minjiang River, and flows to the north and enters the Jiujiang River. The water is clear and sweet, and the forest is lush. , covering the whole village.

Currently, the village has 2,350 acres of cultivated land, 22,888 acres of mountain forest, and 9,904 acres of moso bamboo mountain. The annual output is thousands of cubic meters of forest trees, 450,000 moso bamboo roots, and thousands of tons of bamboo shoots in winter and spring. Bamboo income is an important economic pillar of the village. There are 6 bamboo and wood processing factories in the village, with an annual output value of tens of millions of yuan.

In the past few years, the simple and hard-working Gulou villagers have not only relied on the mountains and mountains, but also vigorously developed the edible fungi cultivation industry. The main industries include shiitake mushrooms, bamboo fungus, Ganoderma lucidum, etc. The development of the planting industry has greatly increased farmers' income and made villagers rich. The per capita net income of farmers reaches 4,775 yuan, and the living standards of villagers are improving year by year.
